Effective leaders are powerful in part because they manage themselves emotionally better than those who are less effective. Their personal behavior and their skills enlist, engage, guide, and support others in accompanying important goals. Furr Resources helps leaders develop the emotional intelligence and skills required for higher performance.
- Leadership Awareness Workshop (LAW) is a two-day in-house program for mid-management or other high potential leaders. It offers extensive feedback through six inventories, including 360-degree feedback, and allows participants to learn more effective leadership actions through simulations and experiential processes. This workshop culminates in an individual leadership action plan and coaching session(s) for each participant with a Furr consultant.
- Leadership Impact Studies and Executive Coaching are two resources executives use to better understand and manage their effectiveness. The two-day Leadership Impact Study uses a skilled interviewer to gather rich, detailed feedback about an executive's leadership style from key superiors, direct reports, and peers and to develop a plan for enhanced effectiveness. Executive Coaching offers periodic, objective support through one-on-one coaching sessions with a Furr Resources’ professional.

- Six Thinking Hats® and Lateral Thinking® are two in-house workshops teaching the methods of Edward de Bono, one of the world's leading authorities in creativity. Participants learn practical methods, which they can use to challenge and broaden their thinking on demand, as the work situation requires.
- Signature Leadership Series® is Furr Resource's award-winning (American Society for Training and Development) comprehensive in-house program for developing executive leadership skills. Developed as five units, clients choose from one to 19 days of classroom facilitation over a course of twelve to sixteen months, customized to meet their performance issues. This exclusive program focuses on the skills executives need in strategic roles: shaping the leadership role to meet the demands of the future; focusing, developing, and aligning the organization; managing organizational change; building High Performance Teams; and becoming more effective in coaching, counseling, and developing others.
